Naeem Murr

Naeem Murr is the author of four novels: The Boy (Houghton Mifflin, 1998), a New York Times Notable Book; The Genius of the Sea (Free Press, 2003); The Perfect Man (Random House, 2007), longlisted for the Man Booker Prize; and Every Exit Brings You Home, published in 2026 by Norton. He has won a Pushcart Prize, a PEN Beyond Margins Award, and a Guggenheim Fellowship. He lives in Chicago and teaches at Northwestern University.
