Shane McCrae

Biography

Shane McCrae is the author of The Gilded Auction Block (FSG, 2019) and the forthcoming Sometimes I Never Suffered (FSG, 2020). He has received a Whiting Award, a fellowship from the National Endowment for the Arts, a Lannan Literary Award, a Guggenheim Fellowship, and the Anisfield-Wolf Book Award. He lives in New York City and teaches at Columbia University.
