Meghan O'Rourke

Meghan O’Rourke is a former editor at The New Yorker and The Paris Review. Her latest book is Once: Poems (Norton, 2011). Her collection Halflife (Norton, 2007) was a finalist for both the Patterson Poetry Prize and Britain’s Forward First Book Prize. Her criticism and poems have appeared in the New York Times Magazine, The New York Times Book Review, The Nation, Poetry, and The Kenyon Review. She lives in New York City.
