Manuel Muñoz

Biography

Manuel Muñoz is the author of a novel, What You See in the Dark (Algonquin, 2011), and the short-story collections Zigzagger (Northwestern, 2003) and The Faith Healer of Olive Avenue (Algonquin, 2007), which was shortlisted for the Frank O’Connor International Short Story Award. He has been recognized with a Whiting Writer’s Award, three O. Henry Awards, and an appearance in Best American Short Stories. His next collection, The Consequences (Graywolf, 2022), is forthcoming.
