Leonard Rapport

Leonard A. Rapport was an archivist of American Revolution records for the National Archives, where he was a leading authority on documents relating to the 1787 Constitutional Convention and the Bill of Rights. He served in the Army from 1941-48, backpacked the southern third of the Appalachian Trail, and walked coast to coast in Ireland at the age of eighty. “The Night the Bucket Fell” appeared in “Best Short Stories of 1937.” He died in March of 2008.
