Gail McConnell

Gail McConnell is from Belfast and her debut poetry pamphlet is Fourteen (Green Bottle Press, 2018). Forthcoming is a pamphlet exploring the interaction between parenthood and queerness (Ink Sweat & Tears, 2019). Her poems have appeared in Poetry Review, PN Review, Blackbox Manifold and the Manchester Review. She is Lecturer in English at Queen’s University Belfast. She is the author of Northern Irish Poetry and Theology (Palgrave, 2014) as well as articles on modern Irish poetry.
