Eoghan Walls

Biography

Eoghan Walls won an Eric Gregory Award in 2006 and has published two collections of poetry, The Salt Harvest (Seren, 2011) and Pigeon Songs (Seren, 2019). He is currently translating a large volume of Heidegger’s poetry and teaches creative writing at Lancaster University.

The Bright and Crayoned Universe

She has drawn them disembarking a sky-blue bus,
fresh from the bombing of Al Hajar. Some stumble
in the red-blobbed orchard, their hair shedding dust.
