Binyavanga Wainaina

Binyavanga Wainaina is the author of Discovering Home and Beyond the River Yei. In 2002 he won the Caine Prize for African Writing and in 2003 was given an award by the Kenya Publisher’s Association in recognition of his services to Kenyan literature. He has written for the East African, National Geographic, The Sunday Times (South Africa), and The Guardian (UK). He is presently at work on his first novel The Fallen World of Appearances.
