Biography

Stephen Kearse is an author and journalist based in metro Washington, DC. His novels include Liquid Snakes (Soft Skull, 2023); In the Heat of the Light (Kindred Books, 2019); and the forthcoming Post (FSG Originals, 2028). His work has been featured in The Nation, Pitchfork, The New York Times Magazine, Joyland, The Washington Post, NPR, and The Baffler.
