Fyodor Dostoevsky

Fyodor Dostoyevsky (1821 – 1881) was one of the most well-regarded writers of the eighteenth century, famous for works such as Crime and Punishment (1886). Another well-known work, The Brothers Karamazov, was first published as a series between 1879 and 1880 in the Russian Messenger (Russky Vestnik). In 1926, VQR published several letters written by Dostoevsky to the associate editor of the Russian Messenger during the creation of The Brothers Karamazov.
